Job Summary and Qualifications

We seek a self-motivated, compassionate RN to join our fast-paced Operating Room team. BSN and surgical experience are preferred. Our OR has 9 suites performing procedures in Traumas, Orthopedics, Neuro, Urology, ENT, OB-GYN, Open Heart, GI, Thoracic, Oncology, Ophthalmic, Vascular, and General Surgery, including some with daVinci Robot (SI). We value teamwork and compassion across care spectrum.

• Provide pre and post-surgical care for patients under general, epidural/spinal anesthesia, and IV sedation.
• Monitor airway, pain, interpret EKG, labs, and hemodynamics.
• Manage high-risk IV therapies and blood components, perform conscious sedation, and plan post-procedure care.
• Support and mentor new staff and students.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Indiana
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS certification within nine months of employment
• Knowledge to provide age-appropriate surgical patient care
• BSN preferred
