Position:

Role: RN OPERATING ROOM

Job Location: New York, NY

Shift: Day 12.00 Hr.

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

1. Directs and manages the care of designated operative patients and performs ongoing patient assessments.
2. Creates and maintains a safe environment, and implements and enforces all policies and procedures.
3. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
4. Develops a plan of preoperative nursing care based on patient assessment, including physical, psychosocial, cultural, growth, and developmental considerations.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license for the State of NY
• AHA BLS - Basic Life Support Certificate
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Pay rate: $89-95
