Vibra Travels is seeking an Operating Room OR Registered Nurse RN to join our expanding network of travel healthcare professionals. You will assist in life-changing procedures while traveling the country, with a dependable, detail-focused approach in hospital settings.

The role requires 1 year OR experience, an active RN license in the assigned state, and ACLS/BLS certifications. You’ll work with one recruiter and enjoy a tax-free stipend alongside the hourly rate.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Serve as scrub or circulating nurse during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and OR protocols.
• Assist surgeons and capture handoffs to recovery.
• Travel to client facilities nationwide as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One (1) year of recent operating room experience
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Other certifications may be required by the client. Ex: CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse)

Other Skills Required:

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in high-stress environments and respond quickly in emergencies
• Proficient in sterile technique and OR protocols
• Ability to serve as scrub or circulating nurse during procedures
• Anticipate needs of the surgeon and surgical team
• Ability to transfer patients to recovery and provide hand off communication
• Strong documentation skills using EMR
