Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our expanding network of travel healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with OR experience, ready to support life-changing procedures across the country.

You will work as a scrub or circulating nurse, adhere to sterile techniques, and document patient care using EMR. Travel-friendly, with competitive pay and stipends where applicable.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of recent operating room experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification from Vibra Travels-approved vendor required; ACLS/BLS may be needed per client.
• Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
• CNOR and other certifications may be required by the client.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub or circulating nurse during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and OR protocols.
• Anticipate needs of the surgeon and surgical team.
• Provide hand-off communication and complete EMR documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One (1) year of recent operating room experience
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Other certifications may be required by the client. Ex: CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse)

Other Skills Required:

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in high-stress environments and respond quickly in emergencies
• Proficient in sterile technique and OR protocols
• Ability to serve as scrub or circulating nurse during procedures
• Anticipate needs of the surgeon and surgical team
• Ability to transfer patients to recovery and provide hand off communication
• Strong documentation skills using EMR
