Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Staff RN for the Operating Room on a full-time day shift (9:00 am - 9:30 pm) with call required. The role offers up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates and comprehensive benefits.

As an OR staff nurse, you will provide holistic, patient-centered care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and utilize state-of-the-art technology to support surgical services. Prior surgical or critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a nursing program; active RN license in Georgia (or multistate).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required through AHA or Red Cross.
• Previous surgical services or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate care activities of assigned staff.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability within organizational policies.

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS and ACLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Previous surgical services or critical care experience preferred.
