Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in alignment with physician orders and established guidelines.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure in good standing and BLS certification, with a BSN preferred and two years of RN experience. Additional life-support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other unit-specific certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) preferred
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adheres to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
