Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an RN in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Establishes and maintains communication; teaches patients and families.
• Delivers age-appropriate care to patients on the unit.
• Collaborates with Physician regarding patient condition and treatment plan.
• Demonstrates leadership with LPNs, Nurse Aides, and Secretaries to promote teamwork and care quality.
• Maintains department policies and competencies and ensures service excellence.
