Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Florida’s Treasure Coast seeks an experienced RN for the Oncology Infusion team. This PRN role involves direct patient care during cancer treatment sessions, with responsibilities that include administering therapies, monitoring patients, and coordinating discharge needs.

The ideal candidate has acute care RN experience, BLS, and chemo knowledge. This role offers opportunities to advance toward ONS and Oncology certification and to become a Team Lead.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (state license)
• 1 year of acute care RN experience
• Oncology/infusion exposure preferred
• BLS certification up to date
• Chemo/Bio course within 2 years of hire preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology infusion patients
• Implement, monitor, and adjust patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to therapies
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education
• Educate patients and families about care plans and chemo regimens
