Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN) required.
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required.
• Current state RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• Oncology experience preferred; chemo/bio course within two years of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Monitor, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
