Job Summary

Cancer Center hours 7:30am -5:30pm 36hrs/wk.$5,000 Sign on Bonus! (WDH Nurses are not eligible) Salary Range: $38.71 - $67.87.

Essential Functions

• Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in lieu of a degree: No.
• Licenses and Credentials: Registered Nurse (RN) - State License: Required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA): Preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP): Preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Preferred.
• Experience: 3 years of clinical nursing experience required. Oncology experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of the principles and skills of practical nursing necessary to provide safe, effective patient care and treatment.
• Knowledge of age-specific care requirements for the populations served.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
