Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to document, assess, and support oncology/neuroscience patients in a fast-paced EMR-driven environment.

You will perform admission assessments, monitor vitals, report outcomes to the care team, and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation while upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with RN licensure; oncology experience a plus; BLS/ACLS; pay range listed and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year nursing experience required.
• 1+ year oncology experience required.
• Previous neuroscience and/or radiation oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents procedures and assessments in the EMR system.
• Reports patient status, interventions and outcomes to the healthcare team in a timely manner.
• Ensures documentation complies with policies, and with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Completes admission assessments, including pain screening and follow-up evaluations.
• Records patient history, medications and allergies; monitors patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Maintains confidentiality and security of patient information per HIPAA.
