Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Oncology to join our Day Shift team. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support cancer patients and families.

Qualifications include an Associate's in Nursing, RN license, oncology experience, and knowledge of Radiation Oncology pathways. BLS is required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with oncology experience required.
• Oncology experience and knowledge of Radiation Oncology pathways required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document procedures per department policy.
• Obtain nursing history and complete admission assessments, including pain screening.
• Evaluate patients for age-appropriate behavior and physiological norms.
• Administer treatments and medications, verify physician orders, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and investigate concerns.
