Description:Registered Nurses are committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care through clinical expertise.They engage in collaborative teamwork and critical thinking.Active participation in a culture of reliability and safety is essential.The unit cares for patients with hematological and oncology diagnoses.Inpatient chemotherapy, symptom management, and supportive care for progressive diagnoses are provided.The unit includes specialized medical patients, including those with tracheostomies, and offers palliative and hospice/end-of-life care.Staffing ratios are typically 1:6, and 1:4 when administering active chemotherapy.Jewelry and body adornments are allowed; visible tattoos are permitted if not offensive.Facial and ear piercings are acceptable if they maintain a professional appearance.Immunity status for Hep B, MMR, and Varicella documentation is required.Proof of vaccination for TDaP and influenza is needed or exemption requests during flu season.Tuberculosis documentation is also required.The environment emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement in patient care.Nurses are encouraged to advance their professional growth and innovation.
