Cynet Health is seeking a Pediatric Oncology RN to join a 13-week assignment in San Diego. The role focuses on hematology/oncology care, including central line management, chemotherapy administration, and inpatient/outpatient duties.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of pediatric Heme/Onc experience, California RN license, APHON, BLS, and PALS certifications. EPIC experience is preferred. Night shift with 12-hour shifts; some holiday and weekend coverage may be required.

Description:This position is for a Pediatric Oncology Registered Nurse.The Nurse will work in a hematology unit with 38 beds.Patients include those with BMT, neuroblastoma, anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, solid tumors, hemophilia, ITP, sickle cell anemia, and other hemoglobinopathies.Duties involve administering chemotherapy, blood products, and other treatments.The Nurse will provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.The role includes managing and caring for central lines, IV therapy, sedation procedures, and post-operative care.The Nurse will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families.The schedule requires working 2 of the following 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.Four weekend shifts are required in each four-week period.Strong experience in inpatient Hem/Onc is preferred, and BMT experience is a bonus.First-time travelers are accepted if they have strong experience.
