Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Oncology unit in New Jersey. This 13-week assignment is an acute inpatient role requiring 2+ years of oncology experience, including leukemia/lymphoma care.

You’ll work 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, with ACLS, BLS, and chemo certification expected. The RN will evaluate patients, assist physicians, and develop tailored plans of care, performing hands-on nursing duties and documentation to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in acute adult oncology in an inpatient setting.
• ACLS, BLS, and Chemo Certification are required.
• State RN license or multi-state compact license is required.
• IV insertion, phlebotomy, and basic nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients.
• Initiate assessments and perform therapeutic nursing interventions as needed.
