Description:This position is for a Travel RN in the Bone Marrow Transplant ICU.The unit has 37 beds and a staff of 60 nurses and 5 patient care technicians.The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 10-12 nurses, and 3 patient care technicians.Patient ratios are 1:2.The typical equipment used includes Baxter Pumps and the EMR system Meditech.Common procedures performed include administration and monitoring of high-risk infusions, as well as neutropenic fever protocols.A positive attitude and teamwork are important qualities for this role.The facility has a strong culture of teamwork, positivity, and passion for helping patients overcome cancer.It is recognized as one of the leading centers for Blood and Marrow Transplant and is involved in innovative CAR-T research.
