Job summary

Crescent Hospice in Florence, SC seeks a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse to provide compassionate hospice care during critical moments. You will identify patient and family needs, coordinate care, and deliver preventive and supportive services in home settings.

Requirements include an active RN license, at least one year of medical-surgical/acute care experience (hospice a plus), a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and CPR certification if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in nursing or health care.
• Hold current unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum one year RN in medical-surgical/acute care; hospice experience a plus.
• Computer proficiency and EMR familiarity required.
• Current CPR certification if state requires.

Responsibilities

• Be the Lifeline: respond to patient needs from urgent to routine to support families.
• Provide empathetic assessments of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in home and agency records per standards.
• Support families by sharing knowledge and guiding care during terminal illness.

Crescent Hospice is currently seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support.

*** $7,500 Sign On Bonus ***

Schedule: Florence and Sumter

Territory: Monday - Friday, 4:30 pm - 8 am; 7 days on, 7 days off

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
• Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.

$75,000 - $85,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
