Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care across diverse clinical settings under provider direction. The role emphasizes using the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient health needs with a focus on team collaboration.

Responsibilities include triaging telephone calls, initiating timely nursing interventions, and supporting providers with IVIG and clinical triage.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License required.
• Previous experience in Medical/Surgical Office setting preferred.
• Experience with medical software

Responsibilities

• Provides office-based nursing care in collaboration with provider.
• Assesses physical and psychosocial needs and environmental factors affecting patients and families, formulates plan of care.
• Demonstrates independent nursing actions based on assessment.
• Triages telephone calls and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Assists patients and families with concern and empathy; respects confidentiality.
• Neuromuscular RN; supporting Provider including IVIG, clinical triage/meds.
