Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN - Occupational Health at 800 W Central Rd, Arlington Heights. The role involves day-to-day patient assessment, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, active IL RN license, and certifications (ACLS/BLS). Hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with occasional travel and Per Diem as needed. The setting emphasizes wound/ostomy care and patient education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing required.
• 1 year ICU or ER experience preferred.
• 1 year radiology nursing experience preferred.
• 1 year wound/ostomy experience preferred.
• Wound Ostomy Associate class completion preferred.
• Active Illinois RN license (IDFPR) required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care that identifies interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
• Evaluates patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes, revising diagnoses and interventions as needed.
• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data from patient, family, and other health care providers.
• Communicates plan of care to patient and family while respecting their wishes and goals.
• Documents patient health data, interventions and communications.
• Nurtures a compassionate environment by providing psychological support and assists in procedures as needed.
