Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an RN in Occupational Health to provide direct nursing care and coordinate patient care plans for caregivers and staff. You will work part-time with rotating shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

and flex between multiple Ohio locations, including North Canton, Millersburg, Dundee and Fredericksburg. The role emphasizes returning employees to work, workers' compensation coordination, and delivering cost-effective wellness services while maintaining regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing with RN licensure.
• Current state RN license and BLS certification.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to employees.
• Coordinate and monitor patient care plans.
• Support return-to-work and workers' compensation processes.
• Perform screenings and testing such as TB, vaccinations, venipuncture, and audiometry.

Join the Cleveland Clinic at Work team where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. Cleveland Clinic at Work is a service that Cleveland Clinic provides to other organizations to support their occupational health needs at other companies.

As an RN in Occupational Health, you will provide services to fellow caregivers and staff, helping them feel supported in all areas of wellness. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing and coordinating patients’ discharge plans and monitoring, recording and communicating patients’ conditions. You will ensure employee compliance with Joint Commission, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) and other regulatory agencies to facilitate efficient, effective services and care. In this role you will be representing Cleveland Clinic so your commitment to quality is critical.

Caregiver in this position works part-time rotating variable shifts between the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. You must be able to float between locations located in North Canton, Millersburg, Dundee and Fredericksburg Ohio.

Caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Coordinate and provide direct clinical care to employees.
• Work closely with providers in relation to return to work and workers compensation.
• Focus on cost-effective ways to maximize wellness and prevent illness, disease and disability.
• Perform clinical and/or coordinate activities, such as vision screens, venipuncture, TB testing, vaccinations, COC urine collection, breath alcohol testing, audiometry, spirometry, respiratory fit testing, health assessments and blood borne pathogen counseling.
• Coordinate and track compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees.
• Support clinical manager in the oversight of clinical operations, scheduling, staffing and delegation of duties.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association OR the American Red Cross
• Two years of clinical experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Occupational Health RN experience
• Two years of employee health experience with training in COC urine specimen collection, breath alcohol testing, audiology, spirometry and venipuncture skills

Physical Requirements

• Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.
• Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.
• Note: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

Personal Protective Equipment

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $33.50

Maximum hourly: $53.40
