Qualifications

• Minimum Education: ADN, Diploma or Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Establishes positive rapport with patient and family.
• Promotes patient's independence by educating patient and family in condition, medications and self-care.
• Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Uses a systematic critical-thinking approach to guide data gathering, assessment, nursing judgement, intervention and evaluation of health problems.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
