Corewell Health's 2D Observation unit at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids is a 21-bed unit caring for a variety of patient populations. This team collaborates well and delivers care in a timely manner, acting as an extension of the emergency department for patients hospitalised less than 48 hours.

Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing Required.
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.
- Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA, including ethical practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, and evidence-based practice.

2D Observation is a 21-bed unit at Blodgett who cares for a variety of patient populations. This team collaborates well and is proficient in delivering care in a timely manner. The observation operates as an extension of the emergency department caring for patients who are hospitalized for less than 48 hours. Being a part of this dynamic team allows you to strengthen your critical thinking skills and provide excellent patient care. Some examples of the patient populations treated on the Observation unit include cellulitis, CHF, asthma, kidney stones, and TIA.
Set within a quiet, beautifully maintained property of mature trees and healing gardens. We have a history of providing high quality, compassionate and personalized medical care. Since 1846, Blodgett Hospital has earned a reputation for excellence as a community and teaching hospital. We provide patient-focused inpatient care in 248 private patient rooms and outpatient services for medical, surgical and specialty care, achieving high rates of patient satisfaction.
