Job summary

CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL seeks a licensed RN to join our OB/GYN and Pediatrics clinic float pool. The role provides professional nursing care for office patients under physician supervision, collects health data, documents in EMR, performs assessments, and plans patient care across age groups from pediatric to geriatric.

Responsibilities include data collection, interpreting results, implementing care plans, coding ICD-10 on charges, and charting with provider sign-off.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Prior blood-draw experience is preferred.
• Ability to care for pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient health data for physician and enters into the EMR.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and plan care.
• Implements interventions and evaluates patient progress toward outcomes.
• Assigns ICD-10 codes on charge sheets and monitors CPT coding for billing.
• Chart notes in the exam room and have them signed by the provider.
