Job summary

CHA Cambridge Hospital is seeking an OB/GYN Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy obstetrics & gynecology center. You will apply evidence-based nursing practice to patients with complex needs within a multidisciplinary team.

This Per Diem On Call role features varied shifts, typically 8 or 9 hours, Monday through Friday, with no guaranteed hours. Massachusetts RN licensure (current or conditional), BSN preferred, and BLS certification are required or expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Massachusetts RN licensure current or conditional.
• American Heart Association BLS Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in accordance with established nursing standards.
• Demonstrate initiative and utilize evidence-based clinical skills for patients with complex needs.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.

Position Overview

The role of the OB/GYN Registered Nurse is to provide quality patient care in accordance with the established standards of nursing practice at Cambridge Health Alliance. They demonstrate initiative, robust knowledge, and evidence-based clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. They effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.

Qualifications

Education/Training: A graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred

Licensure: Massachusetts current or conditional RN licensure required

Certifications: Maintains current American Heart Association BLS Provider certification
