Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks an experienced RN for an OB/GYN assignment in Mount Pleasant, SC. This 13‑week contract involves day shifts (07:30–16:00) with 8-hour shifts. You will perform vital sign checks, labs interpretation, and provide comprehensive patient care in a high-risk OB setting.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience, NC or Compact license, and BLS certification. Ability to work with EPIC charting and provide patient education is essential.

Qualifications

• RNs must bring their own stethoscope.
• Experience in High Risk OB & OB/GYN.
• Assessment skills including height/weight, interpretation of laboratory results, obtaining vital signs, patient health questionnaires/history/allergies, and pulse oximetry.
• Cardiovascular skills including cardiac arrest/CPR.
• Office duties such as pharmacy calls, patient refill requests, and telephone triage.
• Professional knowledge and skills in biohazard waste disposal, follow-up phone calls, medication refills, and patient teaching.
• Labor & delivery experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in OB/GYN unit with focus on high-risk pregnancies.
• Perform assessments, monitor vitals, and interpret labs.
• Document in EPIC and support patient education and triage.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff for unit operations.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient teaching.
