Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled OB/GYN Nurse to provide specialized care to women throughout all stages of life, including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecological care. The OB/GYN Nurse will play a key role in supporting patients' reproductive health and ensuring a safe, comfortable experience during exams, procedures, and childbirth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum, and gynecological exams.
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery; assist with pain management and delivery procedures.
• Support physicians and certified nurse midwives during exams, procedures, and surgeries.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV fluids and epidural support.
• Educate patients on prenatal care, childbirth preparation, postpartum recovery, contraception, and reproductive health.
• Assist with fetal monitoring, cervical checks, and specimen collection.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) with accurate, timely documentation.
• Recognize signs of complications in both mother and baby and act promptly in emergency situations.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families throughout reproductive healthcare experiences.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment, complying with all infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in OB/GYN, labor and delivery, or women’s health nursing.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills.
• Comfortable working in high-stress and emotionally charged environments.

Pay: $2,312.00 - $2,360.00 per week
