Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, OH is seeking a skilled RN for the Maternity Center. The role emphasizes compassionate care for mothers and babies within a team-based, safety-focused environment.

As a part-time night shift nurse, you will provide direct care, help develop and update care plans, and educate families while coordinating discharge needs with the care team.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Diploma, ADN or BSN.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
• Current RN license in the state and BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care to mothers and newborns.
• Implement, monitor, and revise patient care plans.
• Record, monitor, and communicate patient conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Honor physician and nursing orders and document actions.
• Coordinate discharge needs and educate patients and families.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required.
• Experience: One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience required.
• Experience: OB and/or Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
