Job summary

Brookhaven Care Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to coordinate total resident care. You will supervise nursing units, directing staff, and applying professional nursing practices in line with state and federal regulations. Advanced training and supervisory experience are required.

You will lead rounds, ensure care plan adherence, and support staff with training while maintaining a compassionate, high‑quality care environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN registration.
• Experience in the nursing field and in supervisory roles.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies daily staffing and redistribution.
• Coordinates with charge nurses to discuss resident care and conditions.
• Makes rounds to assess residents and monitor critical cases.
• Ensures care plans are followed for each resident.
• Performs medication passes as needed.
• Participates in resident care committee meetings.
• Reinforces training and orientation of nursing staff.
• Responds to emergencies throughout the shift.
• Maintains safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Monitors building security during evenings and nights.
