Responsibilities

Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts.
Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure quality resident care.
Provide clinical leadership to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
Monitor residents’ conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are provided.
Communicate with physicians, residents, and families regarding changes in condition and care needs.
Ensure medications, treatments, and nursing services are provided according to care plans.
Respond to emergencies and changes in resident condition.
Review nursing documentation and ensure accurate and timely charting.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Support infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff.
Help maintain a safe, professional, and resident-focused environment.
