Job summary

The Goodkind Group, LLC is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing and direct care staff within an ICF/OPWDD-certified residential program in New York. You will ensure high-quality nursing care, implement healthcare plans, maintain accurate documentation, and coordinate medical services.

Responsibilities include supervising RNs/LPNs, developing staffing schedules, monitoring medications and supplies, coordinating physician appointments, attending ISP meetings, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

  • Current New York State RN license.
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare resources, nursing standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and days as needed.
  • Commitment to agency policies, corporate compliance, mandatory reporting, and NYS and federal regulations.

  • Coordinate physician appointments, transportation, hospital visits, and other healthcare needs.
  • Evaluate care plans and outcomes and communicate updates with individuals, families, caregivers, and service providers.
  • Conduct nursing meetings, staff training, conferences, and ongoing competency monitoring.
  • Collaborate with physicians, Nurse Administration, residential staff, and other providers regarding complex medical needs.
  • Attend ISP meetings and support required clinical and regulatory documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, therapeutic, and professional residential environment.

Job description
