Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an RN Administrative Supervisor for Carolinas Medical Center - Administration: Nursing. This full-time role features 36 hours per week in 12-hour shifts, with a pay range of $44.15–$66.25 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

You will oversee hospital activities focusing on patient throughput, experience, safety, and regulatory compliance, acting as administrative designee when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire date.
• Appropriate professional certification (clinical or leadership) within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Communicates administrative problems and actions taken to nurse leaders and senior administrators.
• Guides staff on compliance with healthcare laws and Nursing Practice Act.
• Coordinates shift communications via huddles and rounds.
• Oversees staffing and resource utilization for patient care needs.
• Supervises nursing personnel and documents actions and investigations.
• Advises nurses on new treatments and policies, and responds to emergencies.
• Manages patient flow and admissions/discharges with interdisciplinary teams.
