Salary Range : $91,624 - $128,294 annually

Starting pay typically around $100,000 for new managers, based on experience.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated RN Nursing Manager to lead our Medical Telemetry unit at a highly regarded healthcare facility in Kansas City, MO. This is a prime opportunity for a registered nurse with strong leadership experience in acute care to advance into a high-impact role.

As the Medical Telemetry Manager, you will be responsible for managing a high-acuity progressive care unit, promoting evidence-based practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This leadership position offers the chance to work in a collaborative setting focused on patient outcomes and staff development.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of a 25-bed medical telemetry unit
2. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient care standards, and regulatory guidelines
3. Guide quality initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and clinical performance
4. Manage unit staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for optimal care delivery
5. Mentor and support the professional development of nursing staff

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience (Charge RN, CNC, House Supervisor)
• Minimum 5 years of total RN experience
• Active RN license (Missouri or compact state)
• BLS certification (required upon hire)
• ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Unit Size : 25 beds
• Team Composition : RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and monitor techs
• Support System : Strong collaboration with charge nurses, peer managers, and Director of Acute Care
