Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Registered Nurse Instructor to provide clinical instruction across long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites. You will guide student growth and development, prepare progress and grade reports, and maintain accurate attendance and competency evaluations.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN, a valid RN license, and at least 3 years of RN experience. Teaching experience is preferred but not required, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• MSN required.
• Valid State RN license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a clinical environment that fosters student growth and professional development.
• Prepare student progress and grade reports.
• Maintain attendance records.
• Evaluate student competency per program objectives.
• Implement evaluation tools to measure progress and competency.
• Attend faculty meetings.
• Maintain RN Instructor qualifications through continuing education and trainings.
• Perform other duties as required by program leadership.
