Job summary

Washington County Hospital and Nursing Home seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN/LTC coverage. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

You will help ensure continuity of care between shifts and supervise CNAs and licensed staff as needed. The position supports resident and family teaching and upholds the facility's mission and resident advocacy.

Qualifications

• RN license required or by state licensing authority.
• Experience with long-term care residents preferred.
• Ability to supervise CNA/LPN staff and provide direct patient care if needed.
• Strong communication and resident/family teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for residents in the skilled nursing setting.
• Coordinate care across shifts to ensure continuity and quality.
• Supervise CNA/LPN staff and support coworkers as needed.

RN - PRN - LTC - Long Term Care- Nursing Home Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing setting. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care, as well as supervising the care given by CNA's, LPN's and supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching. Maintains role as resident advocate with a focus on the facility's mission.
