Job summary

Washington County Hospital and Nursing Home in Chatom, AL is seeking an RN- FT LTC Unit Manager to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

The role ensures continuity of care across shifts, supervises CNAs and LPNs, supports resident/family teaching, and advocates for residents' rights and well-being, with day shifts Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM and rotating on-call.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE ALABAMA RN LICENSE.
• CPR CARD.

RN- FT LTC UNIT MANAGER Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing setting. Responsible for ensuring the continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNA’S, LPN’S and support staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching. Maintains role as resident advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission. Provides nursing and related services to meet the residents’ needs safely and in a manner that promotes each resident’ rights, physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
