Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Nursing Flex Program at Avita Bucyrus Hospital in Bucyrus, OH. This regular part-time opportunity supports patient care across shifts with supervision of nursing staff and a focus on continuity of care and patient advocacy.

The ideal candidate will hold Ohio RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and have 2+ years of nursing experience, including ICU exposure.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care of patients within the unit.
• Ensure continuity of care between shifts by providing direct care and supervising nursing assistants, LPNs and staff.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and acts as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN)s to join ourNursing Flex Program

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
