Job summary

Avita Health System in Bucyrus, OH is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) for the Nursing Flex Program. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring continuity across shifts and supervising care by nursing assistants and LPNs.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, family teaching, and alignment with Avita’s mission in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit.
• Ensures continuity of care between shifts by direct care and supervising CNAs, LPNs and staff.
• Participates in patient and family teaching.
• Maintains role as patient advocate aligned with the organization’s mission.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
