Sevita’s NeuroRestorative in Chichester, NH is seeking an RN Nurse Trainer to oversee nursing services in residential programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries. You will train non-licensed staff in medication administration and health-related tasks under He-M 1201.

This role requires NH RN licensure, completion of He-M 1201 orientation, strong teaching and communication skills, reliable transportation for site-to-site travel, and a commitment to maintaining

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New Hampshire.
• Completion of He-M 1201 Nurse Trainer orientation.
• Preferred 2+ years in nursing, esp. developmental services/behavioral health/long-term care.
• Strong teaching and communication skills; ability to train staff.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as licensed nurse trainer under He-M 1201 for assigned residential programs.
• Train and certify non-licensed staff in medication administration and health-related tasks.
• Conduct competency assessments for staff involved in medication administration and health tasks.
• Develop individualized health care and medication plans aligned with physician orders/ISAs.
• Oversee safe administration of medications, documentation, storage, and policy compliance.
• Provide nursing consultation to direct support staff, program managers, and other team members.
• Monitor residents’ health status and coordinate care with providers and families.
• Maintain accurate health records and training documentation.
• Participate in QA reviews, internal audits, and incident investigations related to medication/health care.
• Stay current on state regulations and nursing standards.]
