• Current, unencumbered RN license valid in the state.
• CPR certification current.
• One year staff nurse and three years management in acute care.
• Nursing degree from accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Delegate administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for duties.
• Maintain standard of nursing practice and professional decorum.
• Be courteous and cooperative when communicating with staff, residents and public.
• Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations governing long-term care facilities.
• Direct and assist Licensed Nurses in clinical performance areas.
• Perform Charge Nurse functions as assigned.
• Assist the Director of Nursing Services on day shift as directed.
• React appropriately to emergencies and disasters; complete incident reports.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
