Job summary

Eastern Healthcare Group seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing staff. The role ensures adherence to Federal, State, and local standards and maintains high-quality care under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include care planning, treatment administration, and accurate documentation. The position supports patient wellness and requires strong communication and teamwork within an interdisciplinary group.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia.
• 1–3 years related nursing experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR certification required; ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessments and treatments.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs and coordinate day-to-day nursing activities.
• Document nursing care and residents' responses in medical records.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the care team and physicians.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
