McKnight Place Extended Care in St. Louis, MO, is actively seeking an RN Nurse Supervisor to lead the clinical team on the floor, mentor RNs, CNAs, and other staff, and ensure safe, resident-centered care across shifts.

The ideal candidate holds a Missouri RN license with LTC experience and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and teamwork. This on-site role requires rotating weekends and holidays, and offers a pathway to impactful clinical leadership within a luxury senior living

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri RN license
• Minimum 2 years of clinical LTC experience
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and team leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Availability for rotating weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership guidance and support to Charge Nurses (RNs and LPNs), CNAs, and CMTs.
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care and safety, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Support infection prevention, medication management, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, community policies, and clinical standards.
• Assist with admissions, assessments, incident investigations, and clinical documentation as needed.
• Serve as the clinical leader and decision-maker during the shift, responding appropriately to emergencies and resident care needs.

Responsibilities Overview:

As an RN Nurse Supervisor, you'll lead by example, help mentor the clinical team, and make sure every resident receives safe, exceptional, person-centered care in a supportive, collaborative environment.

This is a floor-level leadership role. You'll provide direct supervision to Charge Nurses, CNAs, CMTs, and Restorative Aides, serve as the clinical bridge between frontline staff and the DON/ADON, and make sure every shift runs safely, smoothly, and to standard.

What You'll Do:

Position Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Availability for rotating weekends and holidays as needed
