Job summary

Ethica Health in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee a long-term care patient area or nursing department shift. You will manage staff, ensure safe, high-quality patient care, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Have a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Georgia State Nursing Board.
• Possess ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Be capable of maintaining effective working relationships with patient, family members, department heads, and fellow associates.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient management of a long-term care patient area and/or nursing department shift.
• Plan and direct the activities of assigned staff and oversee the execution of quality patient care.
• Comply with current federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care in the execution of assigned duties.
• Take and record resident vital signs and collect laboratory specimens as directed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
