Job summary

Ethica Health in Augusta, GA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to oversee long-term care patient areas and shifts. You will plan and direct staff activities and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The role requires current Georgia RN licensure, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with patients, families, and department heads while complying with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license from the Georgia State Nursing Board.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Capable of maintaining effective working relationships with patients, family members, department heads, and fellow associates.
• Must comply with current federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safe and efficient operation of a long-term care patient area and/or nursing department shift.
• Plan and direct the activities of assigned staff and oversee the execution of quality patient care.
• Comply with current federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care.
• Take and record resident vital signs and collect laboratory specimens as directed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
