Job summary

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals is seeking a Nurse Residency, Night shift, in Omaha. This full-time role supports the nurse education and patient care teams, assisting with care plans and ensuring quality service according to Madonna’s mission.

The position requires completion of an accredited RN program and CPR certification. Successful candidates will work under a licensed nurse to gain rehab-focused knowledge and experience while awaiting RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited RN program.
• CPR for Health Care Provider/CPR for Professional Rescuer.
• Nebraska State requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement patient care plans under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Deliver quality care within Madonna's clinical services systems.
• Report adverse patient condition changes to a licensed nurse.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with organizational policies.
• Coordinate patient care information to support program and patient goals.
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff respectfully to support a positive care experience.
