Job summary

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals is seeking an RN Staff Night shift in Omaha to provide direct patient care, coordinate and document care plans, and mentor patients and families toward discharge. You will collaborate with physicians and the nursing team to ensure safe, high-quality care within policy and procedure guidelines.

Applicants must hold Nebraska RN licensure and CPR certification; two years of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain Nebraska RN licensure.
• Current Module C CPR certification required.
• Proven ability to provide leadership; two years clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile, compare, and record patient assessments, cares, medications and treatments for documentation.
• Coordinate, compile, analyze and record patient care information to evaluate progress toward goals.
• Instruct patient and family to assist patient independence.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; delegate as needed.
• Mentor patients and families to inform them of progress and discharge plans.
• Interact with physicians/providers regarding clinical issues for safe patient care.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
