HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is seeking an experienced RN Manager for Stroke Telemetry to lead the unit with a focus on patient-centered care and operational excellence.

You will direct staffing, oversee telemetry services, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize outcomes and budget performance.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license or compact licensure
• BSN preferred or equivalent nursing degree
• BLS certification upon start or within 30 days
• ACLS certification upon start or within 30 days
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing in acute care
• Minimum 1 year in nursing management/charge role in acute care

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, and evaluates the Telemetry/Stroke unit.
• Ensures compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversees staff performance and departmental responsibilities.
• Manages budget and coordinates program activities with hospital administration.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Stroke /Telemetry directs, plans, organizes, and evaluates the Telemetry unit to comply with hospital and medical staff standards set forth by regulatory organizations (State, TJC, CMS, AHCA, etc.). Integrates activities into the overall hospital organization. Maintains efficient and effective operations by ensuring the coordination of services provided to patients, coordination of program activities with hospital administration, and management of budget and marketing functions.

Maintains responsibility for staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accordance with corporate, hospital, department and safety policies and procedures to meet company and regulatory requirements.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care Hospital setting
