HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital in Florida is seeking an RN Nurse Manager for the Stroke Telemetry unit. You will lead, plan, and evaluate telemetry services to ensure safe, efficient patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care Hospital setting
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management in an acute care Hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, organizes, and evaluates the Telemetry unit to comply with hospital and medical staff standards set forth by regulatory organizations (State, TJC, CMS, AHCA, etc.)
• Integrates activities into the overall hospital organization.
• Maintains efficient and effective operations by ensuring the coordination of services provided to patients, coordination of program activities with hospital administration, and management of budget and marketing functions.
• Maintains responsibility for staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accordance with corporate, hospital, department and safety policies and procedures to meet company and regulatory requirements.

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
