Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. in the Greater Manchester Region is seeking an Asst Nurse Manager Amb (RN) who has responsibility for the supervision of patient care, clinical personnel, and unit operations.

This role oversees daily operations, resources and scheduling, payroll, and staff development while ensuring safe, family-centered care and contributing to Performance Improvement work. CT Registered Nurse license required; BSN within 3 years for existing incumbents; BLS certification;

Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing required; incumbents as of March 1, 2024 must obtain BSN within 3 years of this date
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Registered Nurse, State of CT, and BLS certification from AHA
• Knowledge of nursing principles, healthcare administration, and quality improvement
• Demonstrates leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

• Supervision of patient care, clinical personnel, and unit operations

• Monitor patient throughput to facilitate efficient clinical operations
