Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Experience supervising licensed and unlicensed nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing day-to-day nursing staff.
• Admits, discharges and transfers patients as requested.
• Develops work assignments for unlicensed staff.
• Maintains communication with attending physicians and monitors physician services.
• Coordinates care planning/MDS process and related committee meetings.
• Assists with interviewing, screening and selection of associates as needed.
