Job Summary

• The Manager of Med-Surg directs, plans, organizes, and evaluates the Medical Surgical unit to ensure compliance with hospital and medical staff standards set by regulatory organizations (State, TJC, CMS, AHCA, etc.).
• Ensures efficient and effective operations by coordinating services, collaborating with hospital administration, and managing budget and marketing functions.
• Responsible for staff performance and departmental responsibilities in accordance with corporate, hospital, and safety policies to meet regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

• Current Florida Registered Nurse license or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing requirements, including ongoing eligibility).
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of employment.
